Who are Eligible for Medical Marijuana?

· Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

· Anxiety

· Chronic pain of visceral origin

· Chronic pain of musculoskeletal disorders

· Crohn’s disease

· Glaucoma


· Inflammatory bowel disease

· Intractable skeletal muscular spasticity

· Migraine

· Multiple sclerosis (MS)

· Muscular dystrophy

· Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

· Seizure disorder, including epilepsy

· Terminal illness, if the physician has determined a prognosis of less than 12 months of life

· Terminal cancer

· Tourette’s syndrome


A patient certified for medicinal marijuana may opt for a caregiver if needed. Caregivers generally assists the patient through the MMP process, which includes obtaining and distributing the medical marijuana to the designated patient. Registration Procedures for MMP

Patients need to first register with New Jersey MMP and in addition to get a physician’s approval stating he/she is suffering from a serious conditions. After registrations and payment, medical marijuana ID is issued, which can used to obtain medical marijuana from approved dispensaries in NJ locations.
