“Hello! My name is Johan Reyes, M.D. I am Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Fellowship-trained Pain Specialist.
I specialize in interventional pain management and medication management. I treat patients who suffer from chronic and acute pain, utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to pain recovery. Some of the treatments I offer include epidurals, facet blocks, nerve blocks, and a variety of other spinal injections and procedures.
I completed my Anesthesiology Residency at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School in 2015. I was nominated by the Faculty and my peers to serve as Chief Resident. I was awarded the Albert P. Shih – Humanitarian Award and went on to finish a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Mount Sinai – St. Luke’s Roosevelt in 2016 where I focused on Interventional Pain Management.
From 2007-2011, I attended Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School where I obtained my medical degree and was awarded and admitted to the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society for “demonstrating excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service.” I finished my Internship at Hofstra – Northshore- Long Island Jewish in Internal Medicine in 2012. I obtained my undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honors, from Rutgers College in 2005.”
